Ventilation and Air Conditioning Projects

Проектирование вентиляции и кондиционирования

Kliwenta has been creating projects, installing, and maintaining air conditioning systems for 10 years. The company’s specialists are ready to provide services in the following areas:

  • Projects air conditioning systems (VRF, VRV, chiller-fancoil, residential, and industrial installations).;
  • Creating projects for ventilation systems: central and decentralized air conditioning, as well as supply and exhaust systems.
  • Projects and installing equipment for dispatch and automation of climate control systems.
  • Creating projects for smoke prevention systems.
  • Projects air dehumidification and humidification systems.

The cost of these services depends directly on the size of the room as well as its characteristics.

Our project department collaborates with the following facilities:

  • Private properties. Kliwenta works not only with large facilities but also with apartments, summer houses, and other residential properties.
  • Commercial and public buildings. When preparing a project for large facilities with specific requirements, the extensive experience of the company’s specialists plays a significant role. Properly designing hospitals, office buildings, government offices, hotels, etc., is not easy, but our specialists are experts who can solve any problems.
  • Buildings with special purposes and industrial facilities. Kliwenta specialists have worked on such sites numerous times. Factories, warehouses, plants, etc., require special climatic conditions, which is why the design of the system is the most crucial stage in creating an optimal microclimate in the future.

Our advantages

Kliwenta promptly prepares all documents directly related to the project. The specialists value trust, so they carefully perform calculations, paying close attention to even the smallest details. Moreover, our experts look for ways to save money by simply selecting the right equipment that meets all requirements. The professionalism of our staff allows for the creation of combinations of device systems that can work simultaneously without interfering with each other.

The importance of proper project for climate engineering systems.

Creating project documentation is one of the critical stages in building climate engineering systems. Although many people might think that the most challenging task is installing the equipment, it’s the proper design that determines the cost of the entire installation, its efficiency, correct assembly, ease of use, and reliability. Any error can lead to specialists having to solve problems, which is costly for the client.

To allow designers to start working on a project, they need the following information:

  • The purpose of the room;
  • Dimensions, detailed plans, and as-built drawings;
  • Details of all room characteristics, structural, and technological solutions;
  • Specifications.

While preparing the project, our experts consider all the characteristics of the premises that relate to fire safety standards.

The company’s designers have extensive experience in this field, and using specialized software, they can select the most suitable climate system, taking into account the room’s characteristics, the client’s budget, functionality, and other factors.

The functionality of the climate system after installation depends on the quality of the project. Therefore, you shouldn’t trust an average company that’s been in this field for just 1-2 years. Such a complex matter should only be handled by professionals.

Stages of air conditioning and ventilation project

Creating a project for a specific facility always involves four stages:

1. Measurements and calculations.

At this stage, designers analyze the information provided by the client. This includes the building plan, and for industrial spaces, the technological processes, as well as the technical task prepared by the client.

First, tables of air exchange are prepared, taking into account the air exchange rate for the rooms. Then, using the calculated information, it becomes possible to select equipment that meets the requirements given by the client.

Air exchange in the room and the aerodynamics of the ventilation system network are also calculated.

2. Equipment selection.

The information obtained in the first stage allows for an analysis of the parameters related to air quality and system load. Based on the results, the company’s specialists present a feasibility study for the system to be installed. For the proper selection of equipment, it’s necessary to obtain information about:

  • Dimensions, weight, power, and capacity of the device;
  • Type and number of elements (central and autonomous);
  • Installation sequence of the system.

Such detailed information allows for determining which system will be able to meet all assigned tasks (combined, supply, or exhaust), as well as its type (general or local). After completing the above steps, experts can create a technical project and a cost estimate.

3. Schematics and drawings

The next step is to create a rationale and prepare a project schematic. This involves specifying the detailed locations of all equipment that makes up the ventilation system. The drawings are made using specialized software. At this stage, technical characteristics are defined for the area of the facility where the system will be installed, including the preliminary routing of the network.

During the project creation, our specialists pay attention not only to the characteristics of the room but also to the building. This is how the general plan is created, providing information on the arrangement of system components, as well as the axonometric plan for the arrangement of pipelines and air ducts. The documentation given to the client contains recommendations on the placement of ventilation ducts, air flow schematics, and the specifications of the equipment and materials to be used in the future.

4. Approval

The final stage is coordinating the documentation with oversight authorities, as it’s important for the system to meet not only the client’s requirements but also those of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Station, Fire Department, etc. Coordination with the client regarding the project timeline and other various details is also necessary. After the documentation is approved, the following documents must be prepared:

  • Tables with outlining temperature parameters and airflow speeds in the area where employees will be working should be created;
  • All documents affecting the proper installation and commissioning of equipment (plans, drawings, manuals, etc.);
  • Details regarding materials and accessories that will be used during the ventilation system installation;
  • A contract defining the provision of design, installation, and maintenance services for the ventilation system.

After installing all equipment, Kliwenta specialists provide advice on equipment operation and maintenance.

Kliwenta offer services for the projects, installation, and further maintenance, as well as repair work on any climate control equipment. Since the lifespan of the equipment depends on the expertise of specialists, it’s better to entrust the work to professionals.
