Equipment automation
The operation of ventilation in an industrial facility can be greatly simplified by installing a climate control automation system. It can be controlled manually or autonomously. If needed, these modes can be combined, for example, remote control for a certain period, then operation from ventilation chambers, etc. Depending on the season, the operating algorithms for ventilation equipment vary.
Full control.
- During autonomous operation, the system controls the electric motors of the supply and exhaust system, as well as the drives for the air dampers, to protect air heaters from freezing and, if necessary, to heat them.
- During air supply, the temperature is measured by sensors placed in the air duct. Automation allows control of these parameters to meet the requirements. This is possible because the valve is operated by an actuator installed in the heating circuit. As soon as the fan is turned on, the entire system begins to operate automatically.
- Depending on the thermal power of the air heater, which is influenced by the heat carrier valve, temperature parameters are controlled.
- In the event of a system failure or minor malfunction, an alarm is automatically triggered.
- If there’s an issue with the fan, the system will shut down automatically and will only restart after the power is restored and the malfunction is resolved.
- The fire alarm also automatically shuts down the ventilation system, as the automatic control relays are triggered.
- In case of a significant increase in the concentration of toxic substances in the room, the supply and exhaust system is activated, automatically sending a signal to the security guard or control room.
- It’s possible to control the temperature based on a sensor in industrial gate zones where air curtains are installed. When the gate is opened, the fan starts operating, and a heating agent is supplied to the heater. The air curtain automatically shuts off 30-40 seconds after the gate is closed. This system can operate even if the temperature at the gate falls below a set value.
